Welcome to our first campaign: 3 octaves, available in red, green, blue and orange, depending on what works best for your vision.
This set is perfect for beginners and midi/small keyboard users (although it works perfectly on full-size keyboards and acoustic pianos).
All customers get free access to educational audioguide lessons to learn music theory and pieces of all styles. These will be constantly updated, and you can even request songs!
Textured piano key stickers to assist visually impaired music learners. Designed to be used in motion, for quick and easy anchor points that are recognisable when playing. How does it work?
RootNotes are designed to be used in motion, when playing the piano.
Existing visual aids require a user to stop playing in order to read braille. This means a user’s creativity is interrupted, and although it can be a useful way to identify piano keys, it does not facilitate musicianship and flow.
RootNotes have a simplified design, meaning the stickers are anchor points that can be used actively when playing music.
Whenever your fingers brush over the dotted texture, you will know this note is C. The same applies to the wavy lines, which will always be F.
Both F and C appear in most hand positions, so you will have consistent anchor points without having to stop and read the name of each key. We chose to include only F and C so they would be easily and quickly identifiable without too much textural stimulation.

Choose your colours.
Many people with visual impairments can see certain colours. Our stickers are available in blue, green, red and orange, so you can choose your own colour combinations, or select NA if this doesn’t apply to you.
Peel off the back of the adhesive and apply RootNotes to your keyboard.
The stickers work on acoustic pianos, electric pianos/clavinovas and most MIDI keyboards.
You will receive a set of stickers with dots and a set with wavy lines. Apply all the dotted stickers to the C keys and all the wavy lines to the F keys. If you ordered a mini/beginner set, make sure to use the C and F keys at the centre of your piano.
Your order includes an instructional audioguide to help you get set up.
